Second CosTube Video contest opens call for entries

Cosplay Mania 2011 organizers has released the rules and guidelines for the CosTube Cosplay Video Contest on the Official website of Cosplay Mania.

The contest, which will be the second time to be done since the tilt was introduced in 2009, is inviting all amateur filmmakers who are Cosplay.ph members to submit a video skit no longer than five minutes in length.

The theme for the CosTube 2011 contest must be based on the Cosplay Mania 2011 official TVC, but the participants are free to choose to either make a prequel, a continuation or “any part thereof”.

Advertising mandatories like the Costube, Cosplay Mania and partner logos should be present in the skit.

Entries must be uploaded via YouTube and the link must be submitted alongside with other pertinent details on the form via the Cosplay Mania website.

Submission of entries starts on 23 July and ends on September 17. All the finalist videos will be played during the course of Cosplay Mania 2011, to be held October 01 and 02 at the SMX Convention Center.

Prizes for the winning entries shall be announced later.
