Anime reported to have an average ratings of above 2%.
Financial newspaper Nikkei Marketing Journal reports that the producers of the anime series Tiger & Bunny are considering having a second season.
A source for the newspaper has reported that the average ratings for the anime series has been above 2%, which sets a new standard among programmes on the same timeslot.
Sunrise also stated that the advertisement placed on the characters has established a new source of revenue, aside from DVD & Blu-ray sales.
However, the chief editor of Fuji TV’s anime block noitaminA, Yamamoto Koji has said the method cannot be applied to other anime programmes.
Tiger & Bunny premiered in Japan last April 02, and the series is about to end next month.
