Third sci-fi game after Chaos;HEAd, Steins;Gate.

Video game manufacturer 5pb. has revealed a teaser for the upcoming game Robotics;Notes.

This will be the third sci-fi visual novel by the video game company after Chaos;HEAd and Steins;Gate, and both had been given anime adaptations.

The game is set in 2019 in the offshore Japanese island of Tanegashima. The Robot Research Club is a High school organization in Tanegashima High School, and they are close to lose its organization status. The story is mainly focused on Kaito Yashio, a teenage nerd who spends most of his time playing fighting games. He’s one of only two members of the school robotics club, but instead of doing much serious work on robots, he instead plays with the AR (augmented reality) functionality on his smartphone to goof around with the world around him — a hobby that eventually leads him to uncover a dark conspiracy. Robotics;Notes is set to be released on PS3 and XBOX 360 in the spring of 2012.
