Sequel to premiere on January.
ZEN Otaku Honbu has learned that the anime channel ANIMAX will feature the Letter Bee: Complete Special starting December 16 (Friday).
The said steampunk anime will air Weeknights at 11:00pm MNL, replacing Baka & Test: Summon the Beast.
This will be immediately followed by its sequel Letter Bee Reverse on January 20, 2012.
After the attack Lag suffered in the cliff-hanger ending of the first season of Letter Bee, Lag’s quest to find Gauche continues as he awakes at the ‘Bee Hive’, the headquarters of the delivery service where all Letter Bees work, to find that he has lost Gauche again.
It seems Gauche has no memories of Lag or of his being a Letter Bee previously, and that is possibly a result of having lost a part of his heart. Now known as Noir, Gauche now works as a letter stealing ‘Marauder’ for a mysterious group known as ‘Reverse’ which is preventing Letter Bees from delivering their letters…
Lag must become stronger and a better Letter Bee to be ready to take Gauche back the next time he finds him. Along with his loyal dingo and friend Niche he hopes to make that dream come true and bring happiness back to Gauche’s paraplegic younger sister Sylvette and best friend Aria. (Synopsis from ANIMAX)
