A Next-Level Otaku-Centric Convention at the Quezon Memorial Circle
Makati City, Philippines – 9 November 2011 — NuOtaku, a newly-established otaku journalism and multidimensional production group, will bring a fan convention to the next level with its second event, RevOtaku’11, to be held on 21 December 2011, Wednesday, inside the Quezon Memorial Circle.
This one-day exposition aims to feature innovative and unique activities, attractions and experience to its attendees and participants. RevOtaku’11 will be held in selected locations inside the Quezon Memorial Circle—a venue not common for such events.
The event title is a portmanteau of words “Revolution” and “Otaku”. The creative services team of NuOtaku have done amounts of research and well-detailed planning in an utmost effort to make the celebration different from other otaku events in existence and will result to a very memorable affair.
RevOtaku’11 will bring band tournament to the next level with “The Best of Being”. We will reminisce the early days of modern Japanese Pop Music and relive the so called “The Being Boom”, a known social phenomenon occured in Japan in the early 90’s that made a huge contribution to the definition of J-Pop. An evening concert entitled “Jam Pack Nineties” will feature a roster of well-loved cover bands to perform nostalgic, romantic and powerful songs from Being’s classical artists.
Expect a different event celebrating the next-level otaku with RevOtaku’11. This great activity for the upcoming Holiday season would leave you shouting “Ibang Klase ‘To!”.
