Company acquires multi-platform rights; Online simulcast to start on January 23.
North American anime company FUNimation Entertainment has announced on Tuesday that they have acquired a multi-platform rights to the anime series High School DxD.
According to their website, they have acquired the broadcast, home video, merchandising, mobile and streaming rights to the said anime programme.
They have also announced that they will simulcast the anime starting January 23 (Monday) at 04:00pm Chicago time, and they have expressed plans to release the anime on DVD and Blu-ray discs.

High School DxD is an anime adaptation of a light novel series written by Ichiei Ishibumi & illustrated by Miyama-Zero. The light novel started in September 2008 and is currently on-going, and has 10 volumes.
Sora no Otoshimono: Tokei-jikake no Angeloid movie director Tetsuya Yanagisawa directed the anime adaptation, while Letter Bee scriptwriter Takao Yoshioka handles script composition, and Junji Goto design the characters.
The anime series has been produced by TNK, and has premiered in Japan on January 06.
