Japanese broadcaster Fuji TV has announced during its Nointamina press conference that an upcoming anime adaptation of the sci-fi visual novel Robotics;Note is set to premiere on the late-night anime block this October.
Robotics;Notes is a upcoming sci-fi visual novel developed and published by video game manufacturer 5pb. and is set to be released this June 28, and it will be available for Microsoft XBOX 360 and Sony Playstation 3 consoles.
The game is set in 2019 in the offshore Japanese island of Tanegashima. The Robot Research Club is a High school organization in Tanegashima High School, and they are close to lose its organization status. The story is mainly focused on Kaito Yashio, a teenage nerd who spends most of his time playing fighting games. He’s one of only two members of the school robotics club, but instead of doing much serious work on robots, he instead plays with the AR (augmented reality) functionality on his smartphone to goof around with the world around him — a hobby that eventually leads him to uncover a dark conspiracy.
