TEAM SUNA, the winners of TOYCON PH’s Group Cosplay Competition

Kamikazee performance, Group Cosplay competition highlights of the day

As expected, The third day of the 11th Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention (ToyCon) was one for the record books, with performances from the band Kamikazee being the highlight of the day.

Also part of today’s festivities were the Group cosplay competition, where 9 groups slugged it out to become Toycon’s best group cosplayer.

Kamikazee, led by its frontman Jay Contreras, made the crowd go wild when they performed on-stage, singing their hit songs like “Martyr Nyebera”, “Narda”, and their latest album, “Romantiko”

The Crowd was overjoyed when the band performed alongside some  cosplayers. The band also used the event to shoot their latest music video.

Nine groups battled it out for the group cosplay competition in which Team Suna won using the skit that has won them other awards in the past.

Other winners were Jia Gold Bustamante, who was crowned as the Booth Babe for ABS-CBN Multimedia’s Booth, and Batman: Dire Straits for the Fanfilm contest.
