
Hunter×Hunter also set to return on Monday.
Philippine terrestrial network GMA has announced that the popular action romance anime InuYasha will premiere on Channel 07 this Monday, June 18. The series will replace the timeslot filled byMojacko.
This will be the anime’s sixth (6th) airing on Philippine television, and fourth (4th) on Terrestrial TV.
But it is still unsure if channel 07′s airing includeInuYasha: Final Act.
InuYasha first premiered on Philippine television through ABS-CBN in 2002, which was also repeated in 2006. The channel’s sister station, Studio 23, also aired the anime in 2007.
It was also one of HEROtv’s pioneer animes when the channel was launched in August 2005, but the anime was aired by it’s competitor ANIMAX in November 2009 after airing InuYasha: The Final Act in October 2009.
Terrestrial network TV5 also announced during its trade launch in March 2010 that it will air both InuYasha and InuYasha: The Final Act, but did not pushed through because of the cancellation of the timeblock.
Although it was not formally announced, the 1999 anime adaptation of the popular Hunter×Hunter is also set to return on Monday. The anime was listed on the timeblock’s program menu in its television promo.
