A change of scenery for this week’s episode of The [email protected] since it is more focus on the serious yet dedicated idol Chihaya Kisaragi.
The episode started with four (4) of the 765 Pro girls, Haruka Amami, Hibiki Gahana, Takane Shijou, and Chihaya Kisaragi, and they will be doing a live cooking battle show.
Producer is really enthusiastic about the project, even if the show will only be aired on a small TV station, but as he said, “TV is TV. This modest first step will one day lead to the pinnacle of idoldom! Probably.”
But Chihaya is disappointed when she heard that the singing portion has been scrapped, which has greatly affected her morale on the show.
You can really see that her passion is for singing. For those who remember the first episode, she expressed that she have nothing else but singing and that’s why she had no time to waste.
Frankly, I can understand what she feels… I love the way my life goes, and people should not pressure me to do things that I don’t want, because that’s not me. But I think bluemist can describe it much better… Happy Birthday, by the way.
Back to the episode. I guess Producer became concerned with what happened and wants to talk to her, but she was missing. But he eventually saw her on the storage entrance/exit, singing. He was very impressed with her singing, and promises to work hard so that she will have more singing projects.
After that and some motivation from her friends, she became motivated to continue the cooking show. But unfortunately, their team lost the battle.
On the sidenote, Producer has satisfied the director of the show and hopes to do more projects with 765 Productions.
But once again, I wonder what is her background… Why is she living alone, and What is her perspective in life. I hope that these questions will be answered, or something close to that.
Overall, I’m quite ok with the episode, and the way they have made the whole episode a little bit serious to fit the character.
EPISODE RATING: 4 out of 5
