Anime to be aired the same day as Japan.
Anime channel ANIMAX has announced Saturday that the anime series LASTEXILE: Fam, The Silver Wing will air on the network.
The announcement was made through a TV advertisment, which was airing since 09:00am of September 24.
The series will be aired on the network the same day it will be aired in Japan.
LASTEXILE: Fam, The Silver Wing will premiere on ANIMAX Asia on October 15 (Saturday) at 08:00pm MNL, just 19 hours after the series premieres in Japan at 02:00am JST (01:00am MNL).
The episode will be repeated on Saturdays at 11:30pm, Sundays at 02:00pm, and at 07:30pm.
The network has also opened a microsite for the anime series, which includes gallery for characters and mechas that will be seen on the series.
The same information can also be seen on the official website of the anime series in Japanese.
Last Exile Director Koichi Chigira will return for the new series, as well as Production designer Makoto Kobayashi and Character designer Range Murata. Sacred Seven scriptwriter Kiyoko Yoshimura will be in charge of script composition.
The first Last Exile series premiered on the defunct Qtv Channel 11 on June 2006, and was also aired on the Anime channel HEROtv on September the same year.
This will also be the fifth anime that will be aired by ANIMAX Asia together with Japan, after Tears to Tiara & Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood in April 2009, InuYasha: The Final Act in November 2009, and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! in April 2010.
Last June, North American Entertainment company Funimation Entertainment has announced that they have licensed the anime.
