ZEN Otaku Honbu has learned that the 2011 reboot of Hunter × Hunter and City Hunter will return to ANIMAX Asia next month with New Episodes.
Hunter × Hunter is a remake of the original 1999 anime series. on is a young boy living on Whale Island and his dream is to be like his father to become an elite specializing in searching out lost treasures and mythical creatures. Determined to be licensed as a Hunter and willing to stake his life in challenging the unknown, he sets off on a journey and meets fellow Hunter wannabes Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio.
The series returns to where it left off as Kurapika and Leorio part ways with Gon and Killua, only for the four to meet again in Yorknew City where they encounter villain Hisoka and the Phantom Troupe, which was responsible for the massacre of Kurapika’s entire clan…
Hunter × Hunter (Part 2) premieres on November 12 (Monday), and airs Weeknights at 07.30pm MNL.
